Hi Everyone! =D
Today I will be reviewing the Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes vs the Garnier Nutri-Pure Cleansing Towelettes
Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes
This product costs $6-8. It can be found at Ulta, any drugstore or online. It is said to remove dirt, oil, any kind of makeup, even water proof and waterproof mascara.
It contains 25 towelettes.
What do I think of this product?
So, I was looking for a quick, travel-friendly makeup remover towelettes and I picked this up at CVS and used it for at least 4 months. And...I did not like it. Yes it removes makeup well enough however the side effects were not good. My skin always stung when I used these wipes and would feel very tight and dry afterward. My skin would also get red and irritated after using these wipes. It was annoying and I really didn't like it.
Do I recommend this product?
If you have sensitive and/or dry skin I do not recommend these makeup remover wipes. They will make you sting, burn, and turn red. Try something else. If you feel your skin is tough enough to withstand these acidic wipes, then you are free to try, but in the long run, I do not think it is good for your skin.
Garnier Nutri-Pure detoxifying wet cleansing towelettes
This product costs $4-6 and can be found at any drugstore or online. It contains 25 towelettes and is said to be oil free with Vitamin E. B5, and grape extract as antioxidants and to prevent the skin from over drying. It is also said to contain green leaf extract to sooth and refresh the skin. It is said to remove dirt, oil, makeup and is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. It is said to be non-comedogenic and allergy tested.
What do I think of this product?
So, I got a sample pack from my aunt who asked me to try it out to see if I liked it. And I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised! =) This towelette removes all of my makeup well, which is good because I like waterproof makeup. It did not irritate or redden my sensitive skin. It did not feel any stinging or burning. My face did not feel tight but it may have felt a little dry. I'm okay with that because I always wash my face after removing makeup with a towelette anyway. I have been using this for about a month and I like it! I bought a full sized pack and threw away my Neutrogena one.
Do I recommend this product?
I recommend this product to all skin types! I really enjoy how it does not irritate my skin at all and because of that it feels refreshing! And of course, it does what it says, and removes all my makeup. =) If you happen to have very reactive, sensitive skin, talk to your dermatologist or go for more cream based makeup removers, but I think this is a great product to try. It is also cheaper than the Neutrogena one.
Comparison
Well, it's pretty obvious, but I like the Garnier version better because it does not irritate my skin. Perhaps the Neutrogena one is too intense or strong for my skin and may work for a tougher skin type. But if you want to try and buy a makeup remover wipe, I do recommend the Garnier one! And it is cheaper too! haha
Note: I tagged this under makeup and skincare because it is a part of the makeup removing process and more importantly important for the skincare process. When I say skincare process, I do not mean that you should use this for you skin. I don't think wipes are good enough to clean the skin everyday. I am saying it is a part of skincare because it is important to remove as much makeup as possible before you go to bed. =) Otherwise your pores will get clogged and you will get acne, which sucks. =/ So I hope this clarifies why this is under makeup and skincare! Thanks!
So I hope you liked my comparison post! If you have an comments or questions feel free to write in the comment box below =) Thank you for reading and I will see you later!
I'm a person who loves to look good, and who doesn't?! =D But I have complex combination extremely sensitive skin and I know there are others like me out there! This blog is to show mainly my skincare product reviews to help others with skin issues like me! I hope that you will find this useful and encouraging!

Review on CVS vs Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover!
Hi Everyone! =D
Today I will be reviewing and comparing 2 eye makeup remover brands: CVS and Neutrogena
CVS Eye Makeup Remover Oil-Free:
This can be found online or, of course, at CVS. =P It contains 6.4 fluid oz or 189 mL of product and costs $4-5.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover:
This can be found online, at any drugstore, and at Ulta. It contains 5.5 fluid oz or 163 mL of product at costs $6-8.
Comparison:
I have used both kinds for extended periods of time. And literally, they are the same! All the ingredients are the same. I literally went to the store and stared at the ingredient list in both bottles. They are both a non-polar and polar solution in which you can see 2 immiscible layers of liquids in each bottle. Basically they act like soap, with polar and non-polar components. The polar compounds will wash away anything aqueous or water-based and the non-polar compounds will wash away anything oil-based like grease, dirt, organic compounds, etc.
Directions for both are the same: shake well and apply with a cotton pad on closed eyelids, later gently rinse your eyes with warm water.
They are both fine for sensitive skin/eyelids and eyes. For both of them I have gotten both solutions in my eyes, and they don't hurt. I could dump both kinds in my eyes, and nothing would happen, though I don't recommend it =P.
They both take off makeup easily, without any pressure or tugging. My makeup, no matter how much makeup I put on my eyes, even if it's waterproof or cosmetic glitter, etc. they both easily take everything off.
Which one do I recommend?
Really, it's simple. If they both are the same, and work just as well, go for the cheaper one. The only reason Neutrogena is more pricy is because it is a brand name, but really the CVS eye makeup remover works just as well, physically and chemically. So I recommend the CVS Eye Makeup Remover Oil Free. Guys, don't be drawn in by brand names, kay? Some things have the same stuff and work the same but just aren't as well known or flashy. Save money to buy something even better for yourself ;)
So, a rather quick review, but I thought it was important since CVS is such a common drugstore brand in the US and Neutrogena is fairly well known throughout. I too can be a bit worried when I go for drugstore brands that don't look as high quality as the more well known brand names, but I'm just saying that there are equivalent things out there for a cheaper price!
I hope this was a helpful review to you! Thank you for reading and I will see you later! XD

Review on the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash
Hi Everyone!
Today I will be reviewing the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:
This a drugstore brand that can be found anywhere and it is about $7 for about 6 fluid oz or 177mL. You can buy it in different sizes and amounts. It is said to be non-comedogenic and oil-free. It's active ingredient is salicylic acid.
What do I think of this product?
I don't like this product. I'll just say that first. I used this product for at least 2 years in high school and it did nothing for me. I didn't really see a reduction in acne or much treatment of acne at all.
The consistency is very fluid-like, reminds me of liquid soap.
Obviously it's been a while since I've used it, probably around 5 years, but I don't think the ingredients have changed. I switched out of it a long time ago because it does not work for me.
Do I recommend this product?
Different skin and different acne need different treatments. While it did not work for me, I know it has worked for some people based on reviews that I have read. I kind of don't recommend it, but it is worth a shot in a way because it may just work for you.
Yeah, very short review guys, sorry =(. I know it doesn't seem very detailed or thorough enough but it has been years since I've used this product and this review is based on my experience and what I remember from it. Though if it does work for you then great =), I'm glad it did!
Thank you for reading! I will do better posts in the future! This one I just wanted to input what I felt about this product and how it worked for me.

Review on Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser
Hey guys!
So since I talked about Neutrogena's foaming scrub, I guess I'll talk about the cream cleanser in the same pink grapefruit line!
This is Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser:
This product is 6 fluid oz or 177mL. It is a drugstore cleanser that can be found anywhere easily for about $7-9 and online as well.
It's active acne treatment is 2% salicylic acne.
It is said to have Vitamin C, be oil-free, clear breakouts and eliminates oil and dirt.
What do I think of this product?
So, I started using this product at the same time as my grapefruit acne scrub, so I have been using this for more than 3 years. And I like it! =) It doesn't irritate my skin and it clears breakouts well. It has a nice creamy consistency which is soft on my skin and does not cause redness or problems on my sensitive skin areas. It causes less dryness than the scrub version. I will use this on my whole face to help prevent breakouts, get rid of blackheads and I like to use this in the mornings because it is not as harsh. (exfoliation/any kind of cleanser or thing w/ exfoliating properties should be used in the evenings because when you sleep your skin is growing and repairing, not being exposed to the outside world)
And yes, I still use this product today! Especially when my period comes around, I use it everyday to help with menstrual hormone related acne. This product is not foaming or anything like that, it is a cream that I massage my face with and wash off.
Do I recommend this product?
I do think this effective for acne in general and I recommend it to all skin types! It is creamy and soft in texture which definitely doesn't hurt my sensitive skin physically and chemically I don't get any irritation or redness. It helps clear my acne and I like it! =)
Please keep in mind that I have minor adult acne and menstrual hormone acne, and it seems to treat this well. For more information on acne, please go to my post on talking about acne or a quicker version in "My Skin Story".
Rather quick review I must say. But there isn't much to say when I think the product works well!
I hope this helped you if you are looking for a drugstore, affordable, cream acne cleanser! I hope it works well for you!
I gtg do hw now, so I'll be back later! =)

Review on Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub
Hi Everyone! X)
I hope everyone had a good weekend, in California at my university, most midterms are done so this is a good relaxing weekend for most of us haha.
So today I will be reviewing Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub:
This product can be found in any drugstore and easily online. It's about $7-9, so reasonably affordable. It contains 4.2 fluid oz or 124mL of product.
It's active acne treatment is 2% salicylic acid.
It is said to be oil-free, have Vitamin C, and clears breakouts.
What do I think of this product?
I have been using this product for more than 3 years and I have recently stopped (yes, I will tell you why!). I think this product works well. It does what it says. It does not cause breakouts for me and it helps clear acne. I actually used the Aloe version for 1-2 years before using this and I like this one better, because I think it smells better haha. It has a nice, fruity smell.
Because it is a scrub it will have microbeads inside for exfoliation. Personally, I feel that on my skin, the exfoliating beads are on the harsher side. The microexfoliators are kind of hard and largish in size. When I use it, I need to wash my face very carefully because more pressure/rubbing will irritate my skin. Later in the years I stopped using it on my face and just used it on my forehead because that is the oiliest area with the thickest and most insensitive skin. And in that area it worked well. I do get good results from it but if I scrub too hard on the pimples alone, they will hurt and get a little red, so please keep that in mind!
I also do feel a little dry after using this product, any acne treatment or cleanser will do it, it's part of the process to dry the pimple out and reduce swelling so I just wash with a hydrating cleanser or apply a moisturizer afterwards and it's fine.
I do not use this product anymore because 1st: the exfoliator alone is on the harsher side and I have found an acne treatment exfoliator that is more gentle 2nd: I used to get more widespread breakouts, that would cover the forehead, or a larger area of the face, but nowadays I don't really get that much acne. I get spot acne, and it is not good for the skin to get washed with acne treatment cleanser when only a small area of the skin needs it.
Do I recommend this product?
For more insensitive/thicker skin, oily to normal skin with acne issues, yes, I recommend this product. However, please use it gently, even if your skin is tougher than others, you don't want to over scrub, it will still damage your skin.
However, if you have sensitive skin with acne, especially if it gets easily irritated with rubbing, then I don't think this is a good idea. This is a pretty strong exfoliator and it also really depends on how your put pressure on your skin when you wash it. If you are confident in yourself with knowing how to handle harsher products, then you can try it. I'm a bit torn, since I'ved used this product for so long and it does help acne quite a bit but I know it's like a double-edged sword, so you need to be careful with it!
So I hope you guys liked this post! If you have any questions, feel free to write in the comment box below! Or if you have anything you want me to talk about more, go ahead an ask! There is no harm in asking =)
Thank you for reading this, I hope this helped you on your journey for clear skin! Good luck and I will see you guys later! X)

Review on Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner
Hi Everyone! So today I'm going to review the Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner.
This toner is about $7, you can buy it at any drugstore or online.
It is 8.5 fluid oz or 250mL.
Said to be noncomedogenic, oil free, hypoallergenic, absorbs quickly, and there is no tightness, dryness, or stinging.
What I thought:
I bought this toner because I read good reviews about it and it had a pretty good average rating on their website. I wanted alcohol free so it wouldn't dry out my sensitive and dry skin. And I don't use toners very often, I use it if I'm going to put on a hydrating mask, which is about once a week. I also make sure to use at little as possible.
I used it for about 2 months. And I think it's okay. It works like a toner is supposed to, it cleans any facial cleanser left on the skin and readies the skin for maxium mask or moisturizer absorbtion.
But I felt a little irritation on my cheeks and in the corners of my nose. And I did get tighness and dryness on my cheeks and around my mouth which I didn't like very much. It also caused some temporary redness.
So I stopped using it, and gave it away to someone.
Do I recommend this toner?
I think for people with non-sensitive normal, oily, or normal-oily combination skin, this is a good choice and worth a try. Since there are more oils on the skin, it won't get that dry that easily.
However for sensitive and dry skin, I don't recommend this. It will dry your skin out very quickly and it will feel uncomfortable.
So, this was a quick review but I hope you found it helpful!
If you have any questions feel free to contact me and/or comment down below!
I will see you all later! =)
