Review on Revlon Lip Butter Lip Sticks! =)

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm going to review the Revlon Lip Butter Lip Sticks!

These lipsticks cost about $7-$10 and can be found at any drugstore or at Ulta.
Note: Please be aware that the color of the lipstick when applied can be affected by how dark or light the color of your lips are, especially when the lip color is on the sheer side. For example: A light shade might look darker on you if you have naturally darker lips, etc.

The lip butters that I bought were:
-Juicy Papaya: a shiny coral-orange color
-Tutti Frutti: a shiny bright orange color
-Peach Parfait: a shimmery pink color

What do I think of this product?
In general, I do not like lipsticks, because I have a tendency to lick my lips, which can get rid of the color quickly. Also, lipsticks tend to dry my lips out and make them appear flaky, which looks bad. =P
However, this brand of lip butter has been popular for a while, so I decided to try a few.
Overall, I do like these lip butters. =)
They are all more on the sheer side. The colors may look strong but they go on with less intensity. I like this because they give a more natural color to my lips.
They are moisturizing to my lips, which is good! And also don't make my lips feel dry. They are also less likely to make my chapped lips stand out after application, unlike the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain.
However, they are not very long lasting, and I need to reapply after every meal. Reapplying doesn't really bother me, since I would like to use up my lipsticks before I buy new ones, I might as well finish these! XP If I apply too much product, it can make my lips feel a little sticky when I press my lips together. But other than that, I like these lip butters and enjoy using them everyday.

Juicy Papaya
So, yes, there is no nice photo for "Juicy Papaya" because I could not find a good picture that I felt represented the correct color. There will be my pictures down below though!
So I really like this lipstick probably because it is closest to my natural lip color. It is a soft coral-orange toned color that is great for everyday natural looks. It gives a shiny appearance but has no sparkles.
In pictures online, and one of my pictures, it looks very similar to "Tutti Frutti" BUT, don't be fooled! In good lighting there is a very apparent difference between the two colors!

Tutti Frutti
"Tutti Frutti" is a strong vivid orange lip color. It is great for younger women who want a pop of color but not something as mature and heavy as red. It gives some shine but is not shimmery. It may look similar to "Juicy Papaya" but it has a lot more orange color than "Juicy Papaya" and less pink.

Peach Parfait
"Peach Parfait" is a very girly shimmery pink color that is great for younger girls and women. As long as you don't over apply (and look like some slut), it can give a very cute and young look to one's lips. Great for those who love pink and shimmery things. A little too cute and girly for me, but goes well with a more girly and cute outfit when I'm in the mood for it. =P

Here are some pictures and swatches:

So here "Juicy Papaya" and "Tutti Frutti" look pretty similar, but if you look at the next picture...
Tada! See how different "Juicy Papaya" and "Tutti Frutti" look from each other? =D

Sorry I went kind of crazy on the swatches. I just wanted to make sure that you can see the colors as clearly as possible. You can see how much more shimmery "Peach Parfait" is compared to the other two. The last swatch picture is the colors away from the light.

Do I recommend this product?
These are affordable and easy to find lip colors that give light to medium color intensity. I think they are great everyday lip products. If you are looking for a more sheer color lip stick that gives some moisturization, then I recommend this product. Just keep in mind that it is not very long lasting, and you will need to reapply throughout the day.

I hope that this post was helpful to you! Feel free to ask me any questions or comments below in the comment box. Thank you for reading and I will see you soon! ^_^

Review on Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover

Hi Everyone! I'm still a bit sick but I have gotten much better!

Today I am reviewing the Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover

This makeup remover was found at a Takashima store in LA. It is a Japanese product that contains I believe 145mL of product. I'm sorry, but I forgot the cost, but it's definitely not that expensive, probably around $10. This product is said to remove all makeup and also hydrate the skin.

What do I think of this product?
So I saw this product on the shelf and I felt like trying it. A "why not?" sort of thing haha. This product can remove water soluble and oil soluble based makeup. It is made up of 2 parts, a polar part (which dissolves water soluble products) and a nonpolar part (which dissolves oil soluble products). To use properly, you need to shake the container until the 2 parts are evenly mixed.
This product does not irritate, redden or hurt the skin around my eyes, or my eyes. I have gotten this in my eyes with no negative side effects.
I really like how this container dispenses the product. Over the opening it has a cap with a small hole so you can gently squeeze the bottle and adjust how much product you want to come out. Also, the cap is a great preventor of leaking when traveling.
This is a great makeup remover and can remove all of my water-based and waterproof makeup easily and quickly. I also like the hydrating properties of this eye makeup remover. The skin around my eyes definitely feel less dry and tight after removing my makeup. I will still wash my face after removing makeup, but this product definitely helps prevent dryness after makeup removal.
Compared to the Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover and the CVS Eye Makeup Remover, Bifesta is more pricy however it is more hydrating and the container is more leak proof. Bifesta's container makes it much easier to control the amount of product I dispense than the other 2 products and as a result I save more product and can use it over a longer period of time.

Do I recommend this product?
If you don't mind the price and you have access to this product, then I recommend this product. It works well, doesn't irritate my eyes, the container is easy to control and does not leak!
If you don't have some asian cosmetic store around your area, no need to go crazy and try to get it. Neutrogen and CVS products are good too, I just think this one is a little better.

I hope you liked this review! Thank you for reading and I will see you soon! =)

I'm Back! And a Review on beCREATION Cleansing Sponge! =D

Hi Everyone!

I was gone for sooo long! Sorrryyy XO. I had finals and then went to my bf's graduation and then my friends' graduations, and then my graduation (which was at 8am in the morning and we had to be there at 7am!)
I am a little sick at the moment. =( But now that I'm finally done with the important stuff I can rest and relax!

Today I am reviewing one of beCREATION's Cleansing Sponge with Green Tea Extract

This product cost $5 at the My Beauty Diary store in Arcadia in Los Angeles of California. I'm sure you can find this on Sasa online or possibly other Asian skincare stores.
This product is said to be infused with green tea extract which is said to have antibacterial properties to help clean the skin from bacteria (of course) and to tighten the skin of the face.

What do I think of this product?
So, I have bought and reviewed a facial cleansing sponge by beCREATION before in a Sasa haul. And I really liked it and was very pleased with the use/function of the sponge.
I bought this because I just wanted to try it out. I liked a sponge made by them before, so why not try another one! Also, it is cheaper than the one I bought in the Sasa haul I mentioned earlier.
I have used this sponge for at least 2 months. And I like it. =) It has a string through it so you can hang it on a hook in the bathroom to dry or something. And the string won't rip off or create big holes in the sponge. The sponge has a firmer texture and is a little more dense than the other beCREATION sponge (from the Sasa haul). However, it is still soft and spongy and does a good job of gently exfoliating my skin while washing my face.
It does not seem to tighten the skin on my face. And about antibacterial properties I have no idea, because I don't really see an improvement in my skin that has to do with killing bacteria that could cause acne, infections, etc. I generally do not have much bacterial acne unless it is hormonal acne.
So as to the properties it claims to have, it does not seem to do. However, I just bought it for a facial cleansing sponge so, that doesn't really bother me. And I happy that it is cheaper.

So the sponge in a dried state is pretty small, and as it absorbs water it grows bigger, softer, and spongier. I have small hands so it is just barely the size of the palm of my hand.

Do I recommend this product?
If you are looking for other skincare benefits infused into a sponge, then this is probably not for you. However, if you just want a nice affordable good and gentle cleansing sponge for your face, then I recommend this product. Just make sure to take in your preferences of the texture and firmness of the sponge. If you want a really soft sponge, this might be too firm for you and the one from my Sasa Haul is probably better. However, I think this has a good medium firmness and will definitely not injure or damage your skin.

Review on Aussie Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner Spray

Hi Everyone!

Today I am going to review the Aussie Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner!

This product can be found at any drugstore and costs about $3 to $4. It contains 8 fluid oz or 236mL of product. It is said to leave hair soft and protected.

Direction: Spritz onto clean, damp hair and work throughout. Don't rinse.

What do I think of this product?
I have been using this stay-in conditioner spray for a few months now. I like it because I like how Aussie is a very affordable and easy to find brand. This spray is great for me because I am super busy in the morning, and I don't have a lot of time. So, I spray this into my hair after I wash and towel dry it, brush it to spread out the product, and then I am done! (Yes, I do not blow dry my hair, I am super lazy!)
I think this spray does a pretty good job of making my hair soft and silky. It also helps detangle my hair a bit when I'm brushing out the product. It does not give my hair shine, but it never said it would, so I'm not holding them against that.
However, if I spray too much, it can make my hair a little sticky. So, I would recommend light to moderate use, depending on your hair type and how much hair you have. I have long hair, so I use about 8 spritz every morning after showering. I tend to spray the lower half of my hair because that hair is older, drier, and more damaged than the hair closer to my head, which is newer and healthier. Also, in general, I don't like to use conditioning products on the hair on my head (or near my scalp) because it tends to make my hair oily/greasy.
Another that may bother some people (it did bother me a lot in the beginning, because I didn't use it  for a month after buying it) is the fragrance. This spray has a very very strong sweet fragrance. It smells like...candy...which is a little too much for me. Luckily, the smell isn't that strong after application (especially in damp hair) and fades throughout the day, so it is okay. But, when you first use it, just remember, it smells strongly like candy! XD And of course, the less you spray, the less strongly it smells. Of course, if you like fragrances like this, then obviously, it's fine haha.
Overall, I do like this leave-in conditioner spray, it works well for the price and my hair is softer. I would not buy this product again, but I am glad I bought this for such a low affordable price!

Do I recommend this product?
If you do not mind the fragrance and as long as you don't spray too much in your hair, I recommend this product. It is affordable, easy to find, and great for those of you who want to do a quick and easy conditioner treatment after showering. Please keep in mind that while it does make hair softer, it does not give shine, or not much of it!

So I hope that this review was helpful! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave it in the comment box below. Thank you for reading ^_^

P.S. Finals are basically here. I have a final and a lab report due Wednesday and two finals next Monday, so I will be very busy studying. =P And I will be attending 2 graduation commencements and walking for my own commencement very shortly after finals. So sorry, I will be MIA for a bit. But if I have time, I'll post something! =)
