Review on "Etude House" Skin Toner Wonder Pore Freshner! =D

And yes, I am back with another review!

Today I am reviewing the "Etude House" Skin Toner Wonder Pore Freshner!

This product costs about $16 and contains 250mL. It is sold online and in Etude House stores.
It is said to:
-deep cleanse pores
-maintain skin pH 4.5 +/- 1
-control a large amount of sebum
-minimize appearance of pores
-refine skin tones
-keep elasticity of pores
-moisturize inside and outside of skin

What do I think of this product?
I got this on Amazon because I have Amazon Prime and I have been using it twice a day after cleansing my face for a little over 2 months. And I think this toner is amazing! It doesn't do everything that it says, but it does what is important!
I bought this toner because as the days get warmer and sunnier my skin gets oilier and my pores become bigger and well, easily clogged with oil and dirt.
I believe that this works quite well for my pores, I have seen a good decrease in the size of my pores and they not only appear smaller but also not as dark and clogged.
I have also noticed that I have less acne after using this product. Granted, I do not have much acne in the first place, but I still get more pimples when my hormones level fluctuate because of the monthly menstrual cycle. However, even during those days, the amount of acne has decreased! This may be because of the "controlling large amount of sebum" benefit of the toner.
I don't know what they mean about "keep elasticity of pores" and about "moisturize inside and outside of the skin". Do pores need to be elastic? Is it easier to de-clog pores that way? And for those of you who are not in the medical field, inside the skin is going to where the blood vessels are and the flesh of the skin. I don't think that makes much sense. =P
However, I do find this toner works well with my sensitive skin. My skin does not get irritated or red from it and this toner does not dry my skin out. It does moisturize my skin a little but I will still use a moisturizer anyway.
As for knowing that it maintains my skin at a certain pH, that does not seem to be make any scientific sense and I can't measure the pH of my skin, much less in my skin than on top of the skin. So I'll just ignore that. =P
Besides, the few unusual claims that don't make sense. I love this toner. It worked well for what I wanted and what I wanted was to minimize the size of my pores and it does a great job doing that! It is is also a great plus that it helped reduce my acne! =)
It also still has the same benefits as other toners; to clean off any residual facial cleanser or makeup still left on the face and prepping the skin for moisturizer.
A little goes a long way! You don't need much of this product. It has been a little over 2 months of use from me and I still have 2/3 of the bottle left!
I would probably repurchase this again. My "Body Shop" Aloe toner works very well, but it does not have the added benefits for my pores that this one does.

Do I recommend this product?
If you are looking for a toner to help minimize your pores and help your acne, I recommend this product. Granted everyone's skin is different so it will work in different degrees. But it did work pretty well for me and I think it is great for all skin types!

Review on Chrono Affection Sampler Package!

Today I am reviewing a sampler package of the Chrono Affection brand!

This brand is a very popular (and expensive...) skincare brand in Asia. I received this package for $1 for being a member of the "My Beauty Diary" brand.

What do I think of these products?

Beam of Solar Sun Block

This sunscreen contains 30 grams or 1.1 oz of product. It can be found online for $35-$40.
This is one of their best selling products. Their sunscreen contains Mandelic acid, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, beet root extract, tranexamic acid, brown algae extract. This has an SPF of 35 with PA++ and is said to be oil-free, non-comedogenic and mild & gentle. It does have a fragrance a light floral/soapy fragrance, which I do not mind. This product is also said to: "work deep into skin layers to boost whitening action and help reduce the appearance of melanin and pigmentation for translucent fair and supple skin from within".
(Translucent skin? I don't want see-through skin, no thanks XP jk)

The product texture is more on the liquid/watery side and does not irritate or redden my skin. My skin does not look or feel oily after application. It gives more of a matte finish, maybe kind of a satin finish, but definitely not a greasy shiny appearance.
If you use this product please keep in mind that you only need to apply a little (the less, the better) and take your time to blend the product into your skin. Because when I first applied this product, let me tell you, my face looked super white, like a ghost. O_O No wonder a lot of women in Asia like this product, because the sunscreen itself has a white pigment. I am not sure if it is a cosmetic pigment like BB or CC creams with added color, or if it is just the kind of formula in the sunscreen that makes the white color very opaque. However, yes, this sunscreen can make your face 2-4 times whiter/paler.
What I have learned to do is to use less product and take more time to blend in the sunscreen until the white color is less obvious. Even with good application and blending this will still make my face a little paler/lighter. I do not mind this as long as I don't look like I'm a ghost or I'm sick. =P
Other than that, I think this is a pretty good sunscreen, I don't think it's like a skin-changing sunscreen. Other that doing what a sunscreen should do (protect my skin, prevent wrinkles and sunspots), it is not that special.

Update: I have realized that this sunscreen is not very moisturizing. Not that I expect sunscreens to be a replacement for my moisturizers, but it does tend to have a drier finish. So perhaps this may be good for those people who have oily skin, or live in very humid countries. For those with dry skin, this may not be the product for you but if you still want to try it, make sure to moisturize your skin very well before application.

Do I recommend this product?
If you are looking for a regular sunscreen I don't think this particular product is necessary. Other sunscreens can do the same job. However, if you want a sunscreen that can also lighten your face a bit, then this may be a good sunscreen to try. Keep in mind that it probably is quite expensive and if you can get a sample size to try(before buying), that would be better.


Chrono Affection Toner Sampler

So, the main problem about this toner is that I do not know it's name =(, because it is a sample pack that does not have the original product name, I can't tell you what version of the Chrono Affection toner it is. I would have to go to LA to the My Beauty Diary store and probably ask them.
Wow, I love this toner. If it wasn't from such an expensive brand, I would probably buy it. XD I apply this on my face after washing and patting my face dry. This toner does not irritate or dry my skin. The moisturizing properties are great! This toner feels so relaxing and calming after I apply it and it rejuvenates my skin, giving it a radiant glow! It does not make my skin feel oily or sticky at all either!
I usually think of a toner as a product to get rid of the residual dirt and makeup from my face that my facial cleanser missed. However, this toner has great hydrating and brightening properties. It makes my skin feel so soft and clean! ^_^

Do I recommend this product?
If you do not mind the price, then I highly recommend this product. I also personally will buy this when I am much older and when my "Body Shop" Aloe Toner, is not hydrating and cleansing enough for my skin anymore and I will need to use a better product. So I also recommend this product for older women because the extra hydrating properties are a great benefit to older, drier skin.


Chrono Affection Lift & Tight Intensive Care Eye Mask

This is an image of the packaging, I'm sorry for not taking a close up picture of the product itself, I used it and threw it away and forgot to take a picture. =(
This mask is usually sold as a pack of 30 pairs for $40-45 online.
This mask is said to be for all skin types, it is gentle on the skin and made from all natural ingredients. They are said: "OUR MASK IS MADE OF PLANT COLLAGEN. IT WILL GRADUALLY DISSOLVE UNDER BODY TEMPERATURE AND PERMEATE INTO THE SKIN. ORDINARY MASK INGREDIENTS, ON THE CONTRARY, ARE USUALLY ABSORBED BY THE COTTON PAPER USED."

I have used this eye mask before (got it from a friend). Again, another favorite of mine! (I'm actually trying another eyemask, and if that one doesn't work I will buy this one.) This eyemask comes in a package of 2 masks, one for each under eye. They are gel pads soaked in serum. The product does not irritate the skin around my eyes in any way.
I love these because first, they do not slip off my face, which means I can do other things while wearing this (except physical related activities, like running) like reading, going on the computer, etc.
About the "dissolving part", the serum is definitely absorbed well into my skin, but the gel pads themselves don't dissolve. I'm pretty sure they won't. =P I believe I put them under my eyes (after cleansing my face) for 15 minutes and then take them off.
They do not have a fragrance and the eye masks are very cooling. Great for de-puffing undereyes and helps me relax after a long day. The serum is very moisturizing and after using I feel that my under eyes have become brighter and smoother!

Do I recommend this product?
If you do not mind the price (and yes I know...the price is a killer, but it is a 30 pair pack so it will last you for a while), and you tend to get puffy undereyes, fine lines, and darkness I recommend this eye mask. It is gentle and has great moisturizing and brightening properties, and will help combat under-eye puffiness, darkness and fine lines. I actually find the serum quite intense, and I think it may be better for older women. Younger women can get away with an eye cream or a lighter serum and can move onto this when they need more help or a stronger treatment.


Chrono Affection Double-Effect Remove Blackhead Mask

This mask can be found online for about $10 each or a pack of 10 for about $45.

This is a two step mask that you use after cleansing your face. The first is a cream that is supposed to open the pores and soften the blackheads inside the pores. This makes it easier for the blackheads and whiteheads to be taken out. After washing off the first cream mask, the second step is the mask that will remove the blackheads and whiteheads. It comes out as a black liquid but after application will harden into a rubbery mask. This mask is formulated so that as it dries, it will suck up the blackheads, but it will dry to a rubber finish which will not dry out your skin.
I definitely like the concept of this mask. Non of the products irritated my skin. The 2nd part black mask was pretty cool, because the black can contrast with the whiteheads that are being taken off, and peeling it off was quite easy, other that around the inner corners of my nose, which were a bit harder to peel off but doable.
I am not sure about this mask because this is my first and only time using it. I don't have more to continue using. It does remove a lot of whiteheads, but tends to remove the smaller ones more than the bigger ones. This mask might not be strong enough to pull the big ones out.
I think it does work, but not as well as it should and perhaps either needs improvement or you just need to use more of these to get all of the blackheads and whiteheads out.

Do I recommend this product?
Hmm, I really cannot say. I only used this product once and the results were okay, not bad, but not very good either. Perhaps if you have dry sensitive skin, this may be a good mask to try because it will not damage or dry out your skin. And your skin will not hurt when taking off this mask. However, please keep in mind the price, it is a bit pricy and I think is one of those products that if it works great for your skin and takes off nearly all blackheads, then it is a good product to stick to. Otherwise, feel free to choose a cheaper alternative.

Chrono Affection Ceramide 2 Moisture Bio-Cellulose Luxury Mask

So this mask is said to brighten, whiten, and tighten the skin.
My first impression was not good, because this mask smells like chemicals. =( The smell is not that strong and it does fade fast, but I don't like the initial smell.
I actually really like this mask! It does not irritate my skin or the delicate skin around my eyes. It is quite hydrating and soothing to wear. The mask is a kind of gel material, just like the eye masks. The mask has a lot of serum and because it has a gel-like texture, it is quite slippery, so I had to hold onto it well so it would not slip out of my fingers. It was a bit hard to put on, being slippery. However, once it is properly smoothed-out onto the face, the mask stays on very well. I can walk around with it, sit up, etc.
After taking off this mask, my skin looked so much brighter and whiter! I was a little surprised at how much paler I looked, since it usually takes more times to get an effect. I also did feel my skin tighten a little bit, but I do not think it is very significant.

Do I recommend this product?
As long as you do not mind the price, I recommend this product. It does not irritate my sensitive skin. I think it is great for people with drier skin, dull skin, and fine lines. I will still stick to the My Beauty Diary face masks for now, just because I am a younger person and those masks currently work for my skin. They are also cheaper than this brand.

Review on Origins Zero Oil Pore Purifying Toner! =D

I hope you all had a great winter break!
I can't believe that the holidays pass by so quickly! Class starts in a couple days for me! =O

So, today I am reviewing the "Origins" Zero Oil Pore Purifying Toner

This product can be found at an Origins store, online, and at Sephora. It costs $20 and contains 5 fluid oz. or 150 mL of product. It is supposed to get rid of excess oil without over drying the skin, clean and tighten pores and reduce breakouts.
It's main active ingredients are:
-Saw Palmetto: The extract of this berry provides antiseptic properties and controls excess oil.
-Salicylic Acid: Promotes the exfoliation of dead skin cells that would otherwise block pores and cause pimples. 
-Mint: Rejuvenates and purifies pores, and helps reduce blackheads and sweep away impurities.

What do I think of this product?
So, this was something I just wanted to try out. I still really like my "The Body Shop" Aloe Calming Toner. But I kind of wanted to try something new for fun.
I have used this toner for at least 2 months and I am about halfway done. It is expensive for a toner, costing about twice as much as the Aloe Calming Toner. Which can be a make or break for me.
However, this toner really refreshes my skin without drying out my skin. It does tighten my pores a bit, making them smaller. Which made me pretty happy. =) It does not irritate, dry out, or redden my sensitive skin or the dry combination areas of my skin.
Because it has salicylic acid, I only use this in the evening before going to bed because salicylic acid makes the skin sensitive to the sun and can cause hyperpigmentation of acne or acne scars. So, I do not know how well the oil controlling properties are during the day when you go out. =/
This definitely has helped prevent breakouts for me. Sometimes I will get very small breakouts it between my eyebrows and they have been significantly reduced after using this product!
It is a great toner, and it really does clean the rest of the dirt off my face and neck that my facial cleansers couldn't get. I put some drops in a cotton pad and wipe it over my face and neck. The cotton pad becomes a bit tan or gray colored after using it on my skin, showing how much dirt and dead skin was picked up! Sounds kind of gross, sorry, but it works well!

Do I recommend this toner?
If you do not mind the price, then I recommend this product!
You can try this to help reduce excess oil on your face but it definitely cleans your skin well, reduces acne break outs, and helps minimize pore size.
Because of the price, I will not buy this product again, sadly, but maybe in the future when I am making more money! Luckily my Aloe toner works very well, so I will stick with that for now. =)

Review on The Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner!! =D

Hi Everyone! So Today I will be reviewing an amazing skincare product!

So, after cleansing the face, some people like to use a toner on the clean skin. The toner will remove any cleanser, or makeup that did not wash off and it helps clean the skin and prepare it for moisturizer.

This is the The Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner:

This can be bought online or at The Body Shop. It contains 200mL or 6.75 US fluid oz. of product. It costs $12. It is a toner w/ it's main ingredient being Aloe and it is made for sensitive skin. It is fragrance free.

What do I think of this product?
So, I got a free sample of the entire aloe skincare line. And this was one of the products I tried, and I loved it! After finishing my sample, I immediately went to the shop and bought one! I have used this product for about a month and I think it is fantastic! =D I have very sensitive skin and combination of oily, normal, and very dry skin and it works for my entire face! My skin does not feel irritated, dry, or tight after use. It do not get any redness, stinging, or swelling.
It works very well! I just pour a little on a cotton sheet and evenly wipe my face. All of the dirt and oil from my face that my cleanser can't reach (such at the hairline) or wasn't able to clean properly, it took it all off! I can tell because the cotton changes into a kind of light gray/tan color. Which is gross I know, but shows how well it works! It really cleans my face!
After using my toner, I either put on a moisturizer or a hydrating serum mask, which is much more easily absorbed into the skin with this toner. When I am in a hurry or I am too tired to do my daily skin care regimen, I use this to cleanse my face and then put on my moisturizer.
For me, this is a must have in my skin care! I will always have this! ^_^

Do I recommend this product?
Yes! I recommend this product for all skin types. If you have sensitive and/or dry skin, I especially recommend this toner! =) I know that there are many toners that are too harsh on the skin, with too much alcohol that irritates and tightens the skin. However, this can even be moisturizing to the skin for some and it will definitely not dry your skin out!
I think the price is okay, it's a little up there, but it's worth it! If the price doesn't bother you, then get it! XD

Review on "The Body Shop" Aloe Skincare Line

Hi peoples! =D

So, the little story for this week is about "The Body Shop"!

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a mall and my skin felt very dry but I didn't bring my moisturizer! XO oh no! And I really wanted to rehydrate my skin before it started getting ugly and flaky =/.
So I walked into The Body Shop. It was a shop that I didn't know and I passed by all the time, stared at it sometimes. Always felt that it was too expensive or high class for a person like me to go and buy stuff in. But i was desperate! XD
And I asked a salesclerk for a moisturizer sample for sensitive skin. And she said: sure!
She started getting all of these little containers out and i looked at my bf like: O_o...?
Then she started filling them with all sorts of stuff and told me she was giving me samples from their Aloe Sensitive Skincare Line and I was like, okay, sure! haha, I originally came just to take some free moisturizer for my face for the day and I go back home with a bagfull of samples! Yay for free samples and good service! lol
So, I was given these samples I was not sent these samples by the company or paid to review them or anything like that. Completely random surprise =P.
(I talked with a friend of mine later and she told me that The Body Shop was really big on the East coast, UK, and Hong Kong.)

So here are the samples from the Aloe Vera Skincare Line (made for sensitive skin):

So I got:
-aloe body butter (largest jar)
-aloe calming facial cleanser
-aloe gentle toner
-aloe day cream
-aloe night cream
-aloe eye defense
-aloe protective serum
-aloe gentle exfoliator
-aloe protective restoring mask

whew! yeah..lots of stuff eh? haha, not a bad thing, just something I don't get everyday. =P

I tried these products for at most 2 weeks, the ones I didn't like, obviously, stopped using earlier.
For technical information, such as price and product amount etc. I won't write it here. This is going to be a super long review and I only got samples so I don't know cost, mass, price, etc. You can search it up online at their website, it is very informative. I would say though that each of these products at regular size is about $20ish or more. They all are frangrance-free and would only have a slight tinge of aloe-ness if any.
Note: Because these products are pricy and everyone's skin is different, if I do recommendations, please go to the store and ask them for a sample! They are very kind and will probably do so!

Okay, now onto the reviewing!!! =D

Review on the Aloe Body Butter:
This cream is very rich and very dense and heavy. It is rather thick and you should warm it up with clean hands before application. It moisturizes very well and is very long lasting.
Personally, it's not my type of moisturizer, I don't like thick and dense moisturizers, I like ones with thinner smoother consistency. It is pricy so I won't be buying it.
But it works well and is very moisturizing, because it's so dense and rich, a little goes a long way and you don't need to apply a lot which can make this last for a while!
Do I recommend the body butter?
If you don't mind or you like dense rich creams, then you should try this! If you're like me and like more sheer/light consistency body lotions then you might want to find something else.

Review on the Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser:
This cleanser has a very light and smooth consistency. It is supposed to calm redness and irritation and it does do that. My redness on my face has been reduced and I don't have any negative affects with this cleanser, it works well. It doesn't lather into a foam but stays as it is, feeling cream-like and slippery on the face as you wash.
Personally, I like facial cleansers that lather into a foam. Makes me feel as if it's doing something, lol, dunno. And I'm also very happy with my Shiseido cleansers which are the same price or cheaper. So I won't be buying it.
Do I recommend the facial cleanser?
If you have sensitive red-prone, irritated-prone skin, then I think this is good to try. =) It just doesn't fit my preference, so if it doesn't matter to you that it doesn't foam up, then go for it!

Review on the Aloe Gentle Toner:
This is one of my favorite products and yes, I recently bought a regular sized one haha. I really really like this toner! It does not make my skin feel dry or tight or red. I don't feel irritation or dryness when using and when it's drying. You don't need a lot, for your face, just use your cotton ball efficiently! It works very well, removing any extra cleanser left on my face, preparing my face for moisturizer but keeping it hydrated enough so I'm not feeling like a goldfish out of water XP.
Do I recommend the toner?
Yes! I think this is great for all skin types, especially if you tend to get dry quickly after cleanser or using a toner. I really really like this and will probably use this toner from now on. It is a perfect replacement for my Neutrogena alcohol-free toner which was not good on my skin(which I did a review on).

Review on the Aloe Day Cream:
I was given the one w/o SPF because the lady knew I had sensitive skin and she said: one less thing in there, the better! haha. I like the consistency of this cream, it is very light, smooth and hydrating. It does look a little shiny on the face at first, but if you applied a thin even layer, it should absorb well. It spreads very well so you don't need a lot for your face. It also does reduce redness around my mouth. I do need to reapply when it gets dry and windy but I always have a small jar with me and it's portable. I am a little worried because sometimes when I apply it, I get a slight burning sensation, I wonder if it's just me or what...dunno, just saying. =P Because it is so pricey and my Aveeno Baby moisturizer works just as well or if not even better for like nearly 1/3 of the cost or something. I won't buy it. I'm not a rich person...yet...haha. Though I will definitely keep this cream in mind when I can afford it and when I need something stronger for my sensitive dry skin.
Do I recommend this moisturizer?
Yes, but like I said earlier, ask for a sample! This works well for people who have sensitive skin and/or  prone to dryness. Very hydrating and I really like the thin smooth consistency!

Review on the Aloe Night Cream:
This is one of my favorite products too! I did not buy it because of the price sadly =(. But it is something I will also definitely keep in mind when I can buy something like it! This consistency is a little thicker and richer than the day cream. It should be haha, our bodies do recovery at night when we sleep so a richer formula is best during rest. Even though it is creamier and thicker the consistency feels great! so smooth! I like it a lot! It does calm down the angry redness in my face after a day's worth of battling the daily air! XD It does not feel sticky or heavy, it feels good =)
Do I recommend this moisturizer?
Yes! It is fantastic! I would totally buy this if I wasn't a poor college student haha. I can only splurge so much on skincare and makeup. =P It's very hydrating and calming. When I put this on, I feel like my skin is reviving from the long day!

Review on Aloe Eye Defense:
Another favorite! And yes, I did buy this one! Now you're probably wondering why did I buy this eyecream when I already have a really good one (which is my Dermadoctor)? This is why: First, for the same amount, it is cheaper by $10. Second, I am not saying Dermadoctor eye revenge is bad, it is a very good product (you can see in my review), but I felt it was not for my age and skin type yet. I believe it is more of a treatment for older women and it is also a lot richer than what my skin needs now. I can always go and buy this when the skin around my eyes needs something stronger. If I started out with a  strong one and needed a better one, I would be in trouble. All I needed was a moisturizer and I also don't have wrinkles. So, I tried this and love it! This is a light-weight gel-like cream. It feels very hydrating and it is definitely non-irritating! My eyes really like it and it reduces the fine lines that form when I smile alot!
Do I recommend this eye cream?
Yes! If you are around 40 years old and younger I suggest an eye cream like this. It is hydrating and makes my skin soft. It still will reduce fine lines! I can visibly see a change on my face after application! So it works for fine lines and dry sensitive skin! I definitely recommend you to try this! It is a great product!

Review on Aloe Protective Serum:
This product feels has a light and creamy-gel consistency, which is favorable. However, it irritated my skin. The skin around my mouth and nose felt like it was burning and stinging. I used this serum with and without exfoliating cleansing with the same effect. Therefore, after using it twice I didn't use it anymore. I have never used a cream serum before, I usually use serums in a hydrating mask form.
Do I recommend this serum?
I don't know about this. Because my skin reacted negatively to this product. And my skin is dry and sensitive which is what it is supposed to be made for, and being pretty impressed with most of the products I was a bit disappointed in this one. I'm very happy with "My Beauty Diary" serum hydrating masks (which I did a review on) and they are more affordable so I'm sticking with those. If you want to try I suggest you ask for a sample for  this one for sure! But if it works for you then great!

Review on Aloe Gentle Exfoliator:
I was actually pretty disappointed with this product. It is supposed to be gentle and made for sensitive skin. However, the exfoliating grains felt very rough on my skin and the granules felt very uneven, overall and individually. Even if I was gently massaging my face with it, it felt painful and like it was scratching my face. The areas around my nose and mouth were red and felt raw. I used this once and stopped immediately.
Do I recommend this exfoliator?
No, sorry. I don't recommend it. It does not feel nice to me and there are drugstore brand exfoliators that feel better and work better than this, so don't get it. It's not worth your money, time, and skin!

Review on Aloe Protective Restoring Mask:
This is not one of those clay drying masks that harden, it's a hydrating cream mask which needs to be washed off after use. I'm not used to these kinds of masks but I decided to try it anyway. It is very hydrating with a nice smooth thin consistency. I could only use it once because the sample was so small, but I didn't have any negative affects for first time use. There was no irritation and redness, so that was good.
Personally, I'm not used to these kinds of masks, and I really like the ones from "My Beauty Diary" and again they are more affordable, so I'll be sticking to those.
Do I recommend this mask?
Well, I'm not sure. Because, I've only used it once. And you can't really see any possible problems and affects after only using it once. There were not immediate negative affects but it's not a product I know well. I think this is a good product to try out though if you like these kinds of masks and would like to hydrate your skin more.

Review on Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner

Hi Everyone! So today I'm going to review the Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner.

This toner is about $7, you can buy it at any drugstore or online.
It is 8.5 fluid oz or 250mL.
Said to be noncomedogenic, oil free, hypoallergenic, absorbs quickly, and there is no tightness, dryness, or stinging.

What I thought:
I bought this toner because I read good reviews about it and it had a pretty good average rating on their website. I wanted alcohol free so it wouldn't dry out my sensitive and dry skin. And I don't use toners very often, I use it if I'm going to put on a hydrating mask, which is about once a week. I also make sure to use at little as possible.
I used it for about 2 months. And I think it's okay. It works like a toner is supposed to, it cleans any facial cleanser left on the skin and readies the skin for maxium mask or moisturizer absorbtion.
But I felt a little irritation on my cheeks and in the corners of my nose. And I did get tighness and dryness on my cheeks and around my mouth which I didn't like very much. It also caused some temporary redness.
So I stopped using it, and gave it away to someone.

Do I recommend this toner?
I think for people with non-sensitive normal, oily, or normal-oily combination skin, this is a good choice and worth a try. Since there are more oils on the skin, it won't get that dry that easily.
However for sensitive and dry skin, I don't recommend this. It will dry your skin out very quickly and it will feel uncomfortable.
